• East Hampton Village Candidates Ponder Petitions (easthamptonstar.com) — East Hampton Village's June 16 mayor and trustee elections will proceed under new state rules that temporarily halt the circulation of nominating petitions because of Covid-19. Local candidates say they support the change for public health reasons and remain confident they can still qualify for the ballot once petitioning resumes.
   

• Duke Finishes Fourth, Nelson Places Top 10 at Rod Myers Invitational (goduke.com) — Duke men's golf finished fourth at the Rod Myers Invitational, led by standout performances from Charles Nelson and Clark Mason. The team now turns its attention to the Hamptons Intercollegiate, coming to Maidstone Club in East Hampton on October 5-6, which will briefly bring top collegiate golfers and visitors into the community.
