• Lindenhurst Man Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Donations from Manorville Shrine Multiple Times (longisland.com) — Police arrested a Lindenhurst man accused of repeatedly stealing from a donation box at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island on Eastport Manor Road in nearby Manorville. Suffolk County detectives say the alleged thefts happened on multiple nights between late March and mid-April, and the suspect now faces several larceny and related charges.
