LI Man Charged With Stealing PS5 And Controllers From West Hempstead Home: PD
A Long Island man is being charged with burglary after police said he was accused of stealing a playstation and controllers from a home.
WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY — A Valley Stream man was arrested Friday after a duo living in West Hempstead reported someone had broken into their home and taken a PlayStation 5 and two controllers, police said.
Nassau County police said 25-year-old Juan Trejo Lopez was arrested after the 62-year-old woman and 28-year-old man who lived at the home on June Place reported a burglary. In addition to the PS5 and the controllers, police said the West Hempstead residents reported clothing being taken from their home.
In the aftermath of his arrest, police said Trejo Lopez is being charged with second-degree burglary. Court documents show Trejo Lopez has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
