One arrest involved flavored tobacco and other banned items at a Franklin Avenue smoke shop, and all four men were released with appearance tickets.

Federal jury awards $3.2M to Thomas Donohue, of Franklin Square, former Nassau jail inmate who sued over meds (newsday.com) — A Franklin Square man has been awarded $3.25 million by a federal jury after jurors found a jail health contractor and physician liable for denying him long-used mental health medication at Nassau’s correctional center. The case focused on treatment at the East Meadow jail and resulted in both compensatory and significant punitive damages against the medical provider and doctor.
