• Medina approves spending $22,800 to remove 7 large trees at Boxwood Cemetery (orleanshub.com) — Medina’s Village Board has hired Gasport-based Lakeshore Tree Service for $22,800 to remove seven dangerous trees at Boxwood Cemetery, ahead of fall cross country meets and the Oct. 3 Boxwood at Night fundraiser. Trustees also approved $8,500 to stabilize two large monuments and outlined DPW support and temporary cemetery closure the day of the event.
