AOH and LAOH Dedicate Commemorative Plaque at St. Patrick’s Church in Honor of America’s 250th Anniversary
GLEN COVE, NY — Members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH), Mike Moran Division, and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH), St. Dymphna Division 8, gathered at St. Patrick’s Church in Glen Cove on Sunday, June 7, for the dedication and unveiling of a commemorative Hibernian plaque honoring America’s 250th Anniversary of Independence.

The plaque stands as a tribute to the vital role Irish Americans played in the founding of our nation and in the fight for freedom, while also celebrating the enduring spirit of faith, patriotism, and service that continues today.

The ceremony followed the 11 a.m. Mass and brought together Hibernian brothers and sisters, parishioners, and community members for this meaningful occasion of reflection and celebration.

The AOH Mike Moran Division and LAOH St. Dymphna Division 8 extend their heartfelt thanks to Father Gabriel and the parish community of St. Patrick’s Church for graciously allowing this special dedication to take place and for supporting this important recognition of Irish-American heritage.
