First Graders Bring Spooky Fun to Glen Cove Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation

A festive Halloween parade featuring 88 costumed first graders from Gribbin Elementary School in Glen Cove will bring Halloween excitement, smiles and plenty of seasonal spirit to nursing home residents. The celebration will feature music, decorations and fanfare, followed by snacks, refreshments and photo opportunities.
Just in time for Halloween weekend, these young trick-or-treaters will trade their neighborhood sidewalks for a special parade at Glen Cove Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. The intergenerational celebration will give residents a chance to enjoy the creativity and excitement of Halloween through the eyes of the next generation—all while creating memorable moments for children, residents and the community.
