The condo management company insists the building isn't in immediate danger and says the board is still determining how to fix the problem and who's responsible.
   

• Lifeguards, Residents Rescue Raccoon From North Shore Waters (patch.com) — A morning walk at Glen Cove's Morgan Memorial Park Beach turned dramatic when local lifeguards and beach staff helped rescue a terrified baby raccoon trapped above the bay's waves. Working together with residents, they carefully coaxed the animal onto a board and brought it to safety, leaving onlookers proud of the quick-thinking Glen Cove teens who usually save people, not wildlife.
