• Glen Cove Woman Convicted After $900K Fraud, Claimed To Be Totally Disabled: DOJ (patch.com) — A former United States Postal Service worker from Glen Cove has been convicted of federal wire fraud for falsely claiming total disability and collecting more than $900,000 in benefits over nearly 25 years. Prosecutors say surveillance showed her doing everyday physical activities despite her claims of excruciating back pain. She now faces up to 20 years in prison and financial penalties.
