Seeking volunteers for Nitrogen Smart Communities Advisory Task Force

The City of Glen Cove has officially adopted the Nitrogen Smart Communities pledge and is now seeking volunteers to serve on its Advisory Task Force.
This group will help guide the City’s efforts to reduce nitrogen pollution, protect our waterways and drinking water, and shape a local action plan.
We are looking for residents and stakeholders with an interest in environmental issues and community planning. Those with connections to areas such as water systems, environmental organizations, waterfront or golf course operations, civic groups, or planning initiatives are especially encouraged to apply.

Approximately 10 members will be selected, including both City staff and members of the public.
