• Grand Island Neighbors Foundation extends thanks to Greater Buffalo Track Club (wnypapers.com) — Grand Island Neighbors Foundation has received a $4,500 boost from the Greater Buffalo Track Club, raised through the Grand Island Half Marathon at Beaver Island State Park. The all-volunteer group says the funds will go directly toward confidential food assistance for Island residents facing hardship. Neighbors can also reach out to the foundation for help or to contribute to its “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” mission.
