• Emergency crews respond to brushfire in the Town of Greenburgh (news12.com) — A brushfire near Taxter Road in Greenburgh drew a large emergency response Thursday afternoon, with flames burning close to homes and one firefighter treated for heat exhaustion. Crews from Irvington, Tarrytown, and Dobbs Ferry battled tough terrain, heat, and wind to contain the fire, which officials currently believe was accidental and say caused no serious injuries.
