• Vehicle strikes tree on Palisades Interstate Parkway in Ramapo (newportdispatch.com) — State Police based in Haverstraw are asking anyone who saw a serious minivan crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Ramapo to contact their investigators. Nine people, including seven children, were hurt when the vehicle struck a tree near Exit 11 on Aug. 3, and one child remains in critical but stable condition as the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
