• Pioneer wins second straight Class C State Title (herald-courier.com) — Homer High School just hosted the state Class C flag football finals, where Pioneer capped an undefeated season by beating Shoreham-Wading River 34–6 for a second straight title. The Final Four games were played in the Cortland/Homer area, bringing top teams and visiting families into the community for two days of state-level competition and celebration.
