Our staff of 60 to 110 employees (seasonally) wants to make your cycling and home fitness experiences as convenient and enjoyable as possible. CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — A 3-year-old boy died after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool in Central Islip Friday night, police said.According to Suffolk County police, the incident took place at about 8:15 p.m. during a party on Bark Avenue. The child, who lived in Brentwood, was attending the party with family members, police said.Two family members found him and pulled him from the pool, police said. The child was transported via ambulance to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead, police said.Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6394.
