• Justice Department Topples Nationwide Predator Rings: 200 Children Saved, 350 Arrested (tampafp.com) — A Lewiston resident has been charged in a federal child-exploitation case that grew out of a nationwide Justice Department crackdown, highlighting serious online safety concerns close to home. The month-long operation, involving every FBI field office, rescued more than 200 children and led to over 350 arrests, including another case in Rochester. Officials urge parents to closely monitor kids’ online activity and report suspicious behavior.
