• Liberty Police Arrest Two Teens Following Recent Shooting Incident (hudsonvalleypost.com) — Liberty police have arrested two teens after a May 30 shooting on South Main Street that left a 17-year-old with a foot wound but no life-threatening injuries. Working with state and county agencies, officers tracked the suspects for 60 hours before they surrendered, and the police chief is now sharply criticizing New York’s juvenile justice rules for quickly releasing one teen.
