• Long Island Motorist Fatally Strikes Homeless Man and Flees Lindenhurst Scene (pulptastic.com) — A homeless man was fatally struck while crossing Sunrise Highway at North Indiana Avenue in Lindenhurst early Tuesday, and police say the driver fled the scene. Detectives quickly tracked a suspect to his Brentwood home, where he was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a fatal crash, a felony that could bring up to seven years in prison.
