Full Gospel Church of Island Park is excited to host the “Bless the Block: Back to School Backpack Blastoff” for K–12 students from Island Park, Oceanside, Long Beach, and nearby neighborhoods on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 12–2 PM, while supplies last.
Blast off into a new school year with the FGC family and enjoy stellar snacks, cosmic crafts, galactic games, stardust snow cones and a pop-up puppet show as we ignite an out‑of‑this‑world backpack distribution celebration!
Each K–12 student who brings three or more first‑time K–12 students will receive VIP Explorer Status for themselves and their group. VIPs will enjoy skip‑the‑line access for games and snacks, unlimited crafts, VIP seating for the puppet show, first pick from the backpack station, and a take‑home galaxy goodie bag, while supplies last.
