Huey pilot takes on personal mission to carry names of 9/11 victims across US communities (militaryfamilies.com) — An Air Force helicopter pilot who survived 9/11 as a toddler plans to honor victims by running 34.3 miles from Long Beach to Ground Zero with FDNY members, marking each fallen firefighter. Her "Run to Remember 2,977" effort has grown into a national remembrance project, and this year's challenge will bring that mission directly through Long Beach streets.
