Join us for an afternoon of musical experience as we kick off National Library Week with Tal Naccarato, Guitarist / Songwriter / Instrumentalist in the Americana / Folk- Blues tradition. Tal will perform Solo Acoustic from his original and traditional repertoire, discuss and demonstrate the history of this particular musical genre while exhibiting, performing on and displaying rare vintage period instruments.

Tal Naccarato is a dynamic composer, songwriter and teacher artist whose roots stretch from the medieval mountain village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio, Italy, to the heart of East Flatbush, Brooklyn. His original music fuses Folk, Americana, Rock, and Blues with classical guitar flair and a signature bluesy swing. This musical performance will be at the Great Neck Library, 159 Bayview Avenue, Great Neck, on Sunday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m. Registration is required. Great Neck cardholders and residents can register online, in person, or via phone. Non-residents are welcome as walk-ins, subject to space availability.
