• Mamaroneck Pot Ban Nixed (larchmontloop.com) — Village of Mamaroneck officials have shelved a proposed public cannabis ban, sending it back for a complete rewrite after pushback and questions about its purpose. The village attorney now plans a narrower law targeting smoking generally, even though smoking is already restricted in many public spaces, with a revised proposal expected at the May 26 Board of Trustees work session.
