• Info Sought On Duo That Swiped More Than $300 In Clothes And Beauty Products From Target In Medford: Police (patch.com) — Police are asking Medford residents to help identify a man and woman accused of stealing about $310 in clothes and beauty products from the Horseblock Road Target on August 21. Investigators say the pair fled in a black Nissan Sentra, and Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anonymous tips submitted by phone, app, or online.
   

• Pat-Med Boys Soccer Off to a Red-Hot Start (southshorepress.com) — Patchogue-Medford High School's boys soccer team is giving local fans plenty to cheer about, starting the season 4–1 with four shutouts and just two goals allowed. Led by standout scorer Jonathan Velasquez Salas and a stingy defense, the Raiders have already netted 17 goals and look poised to be a tough matchup all season.
