• FedEx lays off 43 workers in Menands (cbs6albany.com) — FedEx has cut 43 jobs at its Menands facility, with layoffs beginning in January but only recently detailed in a state WARN notice. The company says affected workers received advance notice and were offered job placement help, relocation assistance, or severance options. 
• Woman arrested on grand larceny charge in Menands (newportdispatch.com) — State Police recently arrested a Menands resident on a felony grand larceny warrant following a traffic stop, after an investigation into thefts from a Coeymans cannabis facility. The woman, a former employee, is accused of stealing more than $50,000 in product and is currently being held without bail in Albany County.
