According to court documents, on the evening of July 23, on Route 9 in the Town of Fishkill, Henion allegedly drove a white Chevrolet while impaired by alcohol and cocaine, and crossed the double yellow line dividing the highway, causing a multi-vehicle crash which injured seven people. One of those victims involved received serious physical injuries.

"Driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol can have dire consequences," DA Anthony Parisi said. "My administration is committed to ensuring the roads of Dutchess County remain safe for all drivers, passengers and pedestrians. Driving in an impaired manner will not be tolerated."
