Thomas Ryan, the man suspected in a murder in Orange County, New York was taken into custody after a massive search that lasted several days, police announced Sunday.

New York State Police had said Ryan, 32, was wanted in connection to the death of his 70-year-old father. Police asked the public for help Friday, and early Sunday morning said he had been taken into custody. Police said they expect to release more information later.
"The active search in the Gilboa area of Schoharie County has concluded. The NYS Police thanks the public and our law enforcement partners for their assistance," state police said.
