Jeep Crashes Into East Williston School After Driver Suffers Medical Episode: Police
Police say the vehicle was removed from the building.
EAST WILLISTON, NY — A Jeep crashed into North Side Elementary School on Sunday evening after the driver suffered a medical episode, Nassau County police said.
A 77-year-old man was driving a gray 2019 Jeep westbound on East Williston Avenue when he experienced a medical episode and struck the north side of the East Williston School building at about 6:16 p.m., Nassau County police said.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation, police said.

The Nassau County Emergency Services Unit removed the Jeep from the school, and the East Williston Fire Department determined the building was safe, police said.
