• Catholic Charities to honor eight June 16 with Sharing the Light awards (fltimes.com) — Moravia readers may be especially interested that Douglas Mason, who grew up in Moravia and attended Moravia Central School, is among eight people being honored with Catholic Charities’ Sharing the Light awards on June 16 in Geneva. The event at Hobart and William Smith Colleges recognizes decades of community service across the Finger Lakes, including Mason’s years running Doug’s Market and volunteering with local churches and food pantries.
