• Contracts approved for Ruscitti activity center (timeshudsonvalley.com) — New Windsor is moving ahead with a major renovation of the Ruscitti Park activity center, backed largely by state grant funding, while also weighing big choices on cannabis businesses, warehouse development, and infrastructure near Stewart Airport. Town officials also approved vehicle purchases, a building sale, EMS agreements, and upgrades to pickleball courts, all of which could affect daily life and recreation for residents. 
• Five arrested for child exploitation in Southern Dutchess (midhudsonnews.com) — Law enforcement agencies arrested five men after a sting in Fishkill targeting people who believed they were arranging encounters with minors, including one person identified as being from New Windsor. Authorities say all five were jailed on serious felony charges and are seeking additional information from the public. Residents with tips are urged to contact State Police investigators.
