• Man Poses As Apple Employee, Tries Scamming Senior Man Out Of $30K In New Windsor: Police (dailyvoice.com) — New Windsor police stopped a scam in which a caller posing as an Apple representative tried to get $30,000 in cash from an elderly resident at a local bank. Officers set up a controlled meeting, arrested a Brooklyn man, and charged him with attempted grand larceny. He’s due back in New Windsor Justice Court in early May.
