NEW YORK CITY — John Harbaugh is set to become the next head coach of the New York Giants, according to reports.
Harbaugh and the Giants are putting the finishing touches on a five-year deal, NFL Network's Ian Rapport reported on Thursday.
Multiple media outlets, including ESPN, reported that the two sides were finalizing an agreement late Wednesday night.

The move comes after Harbaugh's in-person meeting with the Giants owners and top brass on Wednesday.
According to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, the Giants’ deal for Harbaugh is expected to be for 5 years and around $100 million.

Harbaugh, 63, spent 18 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, winning a Super Bowl in 2012. He ranks 12th in league history with 193 wins.
The 63-year-old was let go by the Ravens after its Week 18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, which eliminated them from the playoffs.
For the Giants, they are hoping to bounce back after going just 7-27 over the past two seasons and who have fired three previous head coaches.
In addition, Harbaugh will be looked to develop quarterback Jaxson Dart and improve other standout players like running back Cam Skattebo, star wide receiver Malik Nabers, Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns, Abdul Carter, and Kayvon Thibodeaux.
Harbaugh will succeed Brian Daboll, who was fired in November. Mike Kafka served as interim coach for the Giants' final seven games.
