On Oct. 6, Spring Valley police got involved in investigating a missing person case involving a second 13-year-old girl, and they learned she may also have been involved in an intimate relationship with Vasquez-Alarcon.
Police tried to find Vasquez-Alarcon and the missing juvenile at a residence on Lafayette Street. When officers arrived, Vasquez-Alarcon fled the residence but was quickly apprehended by officers. The missing juvenile was then found inside, according to DiPaolo. Additional investigation revealed Vasquez-Alarcon had engaged in sexual intercourse with the missing juvenile, police said.
Detectives also learned of a third case involving a different 13-year-old female. Detectives found her and determined Vasquez-Alarcon sexually assaulted her, police said.
“During these investigations, detectives learned that Vasquez-Alarcon would portray himself as younger than he was,” police said.
Vasquez-Alarcon was arraigned in the Village of Spring Valley Justice Court, then transferred to the Rockland County Jail.
