• Driver Intentionally Hit Juvenile In Spring Valley Parking Lot: Police (patch.com) — Residents of New City will want to know that a 19-year-old New City man has been charged after police say he intentionally struck and injured a juvenile with his vehicle in a Spring Valley Walgreens parking lot. The victim reported being knocked unconscious and suffering a broken wrist, and the suspect is now in Rockland County Jail as detectives seek additional information from the public.
   

• NBC Comedy Starring Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe Films in Nyack (rocklandnews.com) — Film and TV crews have been busy around Rockland County this year, with NBC's new Tracy Morgan comedy shooting in Nyack and another NBC series, "Line of Fire," using Hook Mountain State Park and filming in New City. County officials are actively courting productions, and New City locations are now part of a growing database drawing more shoots and related economic activity to local neighborhoods.
