• Good Times Have Come To 'The End,' But Don't Worry, The Party Is Just Getting Started (patch.com) — New Rochelle residents have a new neighborhood hangout with the opening of The End Tavern at 765 Pelham Road, a cozy pub overlooking the Long Island Sound. Owner Gianni Liporace hopes it becomes a welcoming community spot where locals, officials, and visitors can relax, share drinks, and meet new friends, with grand opening celebrations featuring DJ Nitro this weekend.
   

• Allstate class action alleges company knowingly underpaid rental car costs (claimdepot.com) — A New Rochelle driver is one of two plaintiffs suing Allstate, claiming the insurer underpaid rental car costs after accidents where its policyholders were at fault. The proposed nationwide class action argues Allstate arranged rentals through Enterprise, then refused to fully reimburse pre-negotiated rates, and seeks damages and policy changes that could affect how local drivers are compensated after crashes.
