A community engagement push starting in November will shape which options move forward, so residents are urged to study key questions now and share feedback at meetings, forums, and through surveys.
   

• MTA adds extra 'leaf peeper' Metro-North express trains from Grand Central for peak fall foliage viewing — running every weekend to Poughkeepsie through Nov. 8 (secretnyc.co) — New Rochelle commuters get a new 7 a.m. express to Grand Central starting October 4, with stops at Pelham and Mount Vernon East before running nonstop into the city. The MTA is also adding extra weekend 'leaf peeper' trains up the Hudson Valley through November 8, giving locals more options for both daily commuting and scenic fall getaways.
   

• Iona Prep football blows out St. Anthony's, 49-0 (lohud.com) — Iona Prep's homecoming in New Rochelle turned into a rout, with the Gaels shutting out St. Anthony's 49-0 behind a dominant defense and balanced offense. Players and coaches say they're focused on staying humble, maintaining intensity in practice, and chasing another championship as they head into the rest of their CHSFL schedule.
