• Victim Pistol-Whipped In Serious Domestic Assault In Downtown Apartment: NRPD (patch.com) — New Rochelle police say a 31-year-old woman was seriously injured after being pistol-whipped during a domestic assault in a downtown 1st Street apartment, prompting a multi-agency manhunt. Detectives from New Rochelle, the NYPD, and the FBI later arrested Brooklyn resident Ronald Rashad Givhan, who is also wanted in a Bronx double homicide, and he now faces a first-degree assault charge in New Rochelle. Authorities emphasize ongoing coordination as local court proceedings are prepared.
