• Former Dowling College campus in Oakdale listed for sale (news12.com) — The long-vacant former Dowling College campus on the Great South Bay in Oakdale has been officially listed for sale, opening the door to major redevelopment. The 25-acre site, including the historic Vanderbilt Mansion, has struggled with trespassing and vandalism since closing in 2016, and Tigar Realty is now fielding offers through the end of June.
