ā¢ Seneca County approves union contract (fltimes.com) ā Seneca County has approved a four-year union contract for sheriffās road patrol officers and investigators, and Ovid Supervisor Joe Borst backed using $300,000 from the county contingency fund to cover 2026 costs. The deal brings sizable retroactive raises through 2028 and leaves roughly half the contingency fund intact, while supervisors also adopted a new hiring policy that adds extra review before vacancies are filled.
