The blaze, traced to a malfunctioning charging e-bike battery, was the first call for the city's new Engine 132 and required special handling of lithium-ion debris at a hazardous materials facility.

NashSkill Music Festival Celebrates 10 Years at the Factoria (halstonmedia.com) — NashSkill Music Festival is returning to The Factoria at Lents Cove Park in Peekskill on Sept. 12 with a free, 21+ night of country, Americana and roots music. From tribute acts to rising artists, plus a salute to first responders, the 10th‑anniversary celebration runs from 4 p.m. to midnight, rain or shine, with a backup location at Paramount Hudson Valley Theater.
