Discover the art of stained glass in this hands-on evening workshop series at the Mid Island Y JCC. Led by instructor Kelly Schulte-Smith, participants will learn the techniques of stained-glass creation, including design, glass cutting, grinding, copper foiling, and soldering.
Over the course of eight sessions, each participant will create their own beautiful pair of butterfly-themed stained glass bookends while developing new artistic skills in a supportive environment. All supplies are included with registration, with the exception of the required $14 bookend add-on purchase.
This class is designed for adults ages 18 and older. Attendance at all eight sessions is required to complete the project.
