• Taconic Turn Signal Stop Leads To Felony Weapons Charges For 2 Dutchess Men: Sheriff (patch.com) — Deputies stopped a car turning onto the Taconic in Putnam Valley and say they found a loaded pistol with a high‑capacity magazine, leading to felony weapons charges for two Dutchess County men. Both were arraigned in Putnam Valley Town Court and remanded to the county jail, one with bail and one held due to prior felony convictions.
   

• Man, 43, Trespasses In Pool Before Fleeing, Struggling With Deputy In Putnam Valley: Sheriff (dailyvoice.com) — A man from Stamford was arrested after allegedly trespassing and swimming in a homeowner’s pool in Putnam Valley, then fleeing and struggling with a deputy who pulled over his truck near Peekskill Hollow Road. Both the suspect and deputy had minor injuries, and the man now faces assault, trespass, resisting arrest, and obstruction charges in Putnam Valley Justice Court.
   

• Teens Killed in House Fire Honored at Community Vigil (putnampresstimes.com) — Two Putnam Valley High School students, siblings Alina and Jeremiah Toone, were remembered at a large candlelight vigil after they died following a house fire in Cortlandt Manor. Investigators believe a failed power strip connected to an extension cord sparked the blaze, and the superintendent wrote to the community about the shared grief and slow path forward.
