3-Year-Old Girl Falls Out Of NYC Apartment Window: NYPD

QUEENS, NY — A 3-year-old girl has been hospitalized after falling out of an apartment window in Queens on Wednesday, police said on Thursday.

Officers at the scene found the child on the ground unconscious outside 64-06 Myrtle Avenue around 6:45 p.m.

The 3-year-old was taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center for treatment. The child is expected to recover.

It is not known how the child fell out of the window or where her parents were at the time of the incident.

An investigation remains ongoing.
