NYPD Recruit Dies After Collapsing During Training At Police Academy In Queens
The city's medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
QUEENS, NY — A NYPD recruit collapsed and died as he was training at the Police Academy in Queens on Monday.
The NYPD confirmed the death of Probationary police officer Kamir Loubarria in a post on X.
"Kamir was committed to a life of service and helping to keep New York City safe. The entire NYPD mourns this devastating loss.”
