• 612 Graduates, Ages 18 to 65: RCC's Class of 2026 (rocklandtimes.com) — Rockland Community College just graduated 612 students in Pomona, with 55% coming from Clarkstown, North Rockland, and Ramapo school districts. Local graduates aged 18 to 65 earned degrees in fields like nursing and business, heard from regional leaders, and many are heading to top universities, underscoring strong educational pathways for Ramapo residents. 
• Monsey Students Safely Rescued After Nyack Tunnel Scare (5townscentral.com) — Emergency crews from Ramapo joined Rockland and Orangetown agencies to safely rescue 71 Monsey students who became disoriented in an underground drainage tunnel in Nyack. All the girls were escorted out without serious injuries, and officials are urging Ramapo-area parents and schools to reinforce safety rules around waterways and underground structures.
