• Popli Design Group Brings Headquarters to Downtown Rochester (greaterrochesterchamber.com) — Popli Design Group has officially moved its headquarters to 220 Alexander Street in downtown Rochester, bringing its local team together on the building's top two floors. A ribbon-cutting is set for today, October 8, highlighting new collaborative workspaces and Buckingham Properties' major renovation investment, which leaders say will add energy, jobs, and activity to Rochester's urban core.
   

• Cosmic Baseball coming to ESL Ballpark, fans can sign up for the 2027 ticket lottery now (whec.com) — Glow-in-the-dark Cosmic Baseball is officially headed to Rochester's ESL Ballpark as part of the 2027 national tour, and fans can already register for the ticket lottery. Expect blacklights, UV-reactive gear, a live DJ, and a 360-degree fireworks show, building on a previous tour that sold out across dozens of ballparks nationwide.
   

• 'Let the people drink': Ban on Canadian imports has varying impact on Rochester businesses (rochesterfirst.com) — Rochester bars and liquor stores are already feeling mixed effects from a new nationwide ban on Canadian imports, including alcohol. A Monroe Avenue bartender reports raising prices on some Canadian beers, while a local liquor store owner says Canadian whiskey sales are limited but worries about future tariffs on harder-to-replace spirits like tequila. Both are watching how long the dispute lasts.
