• Sag Harbor Mayor Censured and Asked to Resign (easthamptonstar.com) — Sag Harbor’s village board has formally censured Mayor Tom Gardella and asked him to resign after an ethics investigation and unauthorized salary increases that could have significantly raised local taxes. Trustees reversed the raises, trimmed over $500,000 from the tentative budget, and kept the public hearing on the spending plan open through Friday as residents and community leaders debated whether the mayor can still effectively lead.
