Investigators believe the suspected swatting incident may have been triggered by someone watching Hotel Saranac’s public webcams, and local schools were kept informed as the situation unfolded. Police are still investigating and asking residents for any tips.
   

• Historic Saranac Lake to offer rare, behind-the-scenes tour (adirondackexplorer.org) — Historic Saranac Lake is opening rarely seen Trudeau Sanatorium buildings for a special behind-the-scenes tour on June 13, with pre-registration capped at 100 people.
