Today's riddle: I went into the woods and found it. Once I'd found it, I searched for it. The harder I searched, the less I wanted it. When at last I couldn't find it, I carried it home in my hand. What is it? 🤔 (Answer below!)

• Clearwater continues 60th anniversary concert series with Jenna Nicholls (midhudsonnews.com) — A benefit concert for Hudson River Sloop Clearwater is coming to The Local in Saugerties at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, featuring genre-blending singer-songwriter Jenna Nicholls. • Pine Bush roots run deep in Class AAA baseball tournament (midhudsonnews.com) — Section 9’s Class AAA baseball title game is set for Saturday night at Cantine Field in Saugerties, where Monroe-Woodbury will face either Kingston or Pine Bush. Three Pine Bush alumni now coach all the teams in this tight three-school bracket, highlighting how one program’s culture has spread across the Hudson Valley’s top-tier baseball programs.
