• Scarecrow Making Hayday at the Scarsdale Pool (scarsdale10583.com) — Scarsdale families can sign up now for the Fall Scarecrow Making Hayday at the village Pool Complex on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For $75 per family of four, you'll get food, DJ entertainment, crafts, animals from Weinberg Nature Center, and materials to stuff your own life-size scarecrow, with extra scarecrows and participants available for an added fee.
   

• Nearly 30 new food options defined Westchester's summer 2026 (lohud.com) — Westchester's dining scene just added 29 new spots, including a Wonder food hall network that now counts Scarsdale among its locations and a new omakase-focused sushi restaurant on Garth Road.
