The White Plains–based nonprofit serves patients across Westchester County, and leaders say the club's long-running generosity helps sustain vital programs for both patients and their loved ones.
   

• Linda McCartney To Be Honored By U.S. Postal Service With Stamp Collection (rttnews.com) — Scarsdale gets a quiet nod on new U.S. Postal Service stamps honoring photographer and musician Linda McCartney, who was born Linda Eastman in Scarsdale in 1941. The five-stamp collection, debuting at MoMA in September, celebrates her groundbreaking music photography, later work with Wings, and influence on vegetarianism.
   

• Dianne and David Stern Foundation (insidephilanthropy.com) — Scarsdale readers may be interested that Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling is among the human-services groups supported by the Dianne and David Stern Foundation. The New York–based funder backs Westchester and NYC organizations in areas like environmental advocacy, basic needs, arts, animal welfare, and Jewish communal life, but gives only by invitation through existing relationships.
