Former NYPD sergeant pleads guilty in fatal wrong-way Taconic crash that killed doorman (timesunion.com) — A fatal wrong-way crash on the Taconic State Parkway has led to a guilty plea from an off-duty NYPD sergeant, who admitted to driving drunk. Prosecutors say she had just left a party in Scarsdale with an open bar before entering the parkway in the wrong direction, killing a Peekskill man. Sentencing is expected later this year.
